Day Care Georgetown

Welcome to Peekaboo Day Care Georgetown; our Main Street and Leap locations. On June 15th, 2009 these locations became part of the Peekaboo family of centres. These centres as well as 5 other locations joined Peekaboo as a part of the sale of Tiny Tim Developmental Centres to Peekaboo. We are very excited to have these centres, children and fabulous staff joining us at Peekaboo. We hope to grow and learn from this merger of our two cultures. Our emphasis at Peekaboo is to provide the very best quality child care and education for all children. We are extremely proud of our staff and the dedication they devote to the children and the Peekaboo philosophy. The unique design of the Main Street and Leap locations in Georgetown allows us to be flexible and adjust to the changing needs and requirements of the Georgetown community. We look forward to having you visit our locations.

Our Supervisor of the Leap location is Adrienne Cotton. Adrienne has been part of the Tiny Tim organization since she graduated Sheridan College with her Early Childhood Diploma in 2001. When Adrienne first started she was in the preschool room where she worked until she went on maternity leave in 2004. When she returned the following year, with her daughter in tow, she joined the Senior Kindergarten class. In 2007 Adrienne was promoted to Supervisor. Her position still allows her to be part of the teaching team, as she spends half of her day in office and the other half of the day in the classroom!

Our Supervisor of the Main Street location is Mary Safruk. Mary was born and raised in England, hence the self-proclaimed “funny accent”, and trained to be an Early Childhood Educator before moving to Canada as a ‘nanny’ in 1996.
In 2003 Mary started with Tiny Tim with their school age program. Her love for literature and tolerance for a busy and challenging group demonstrated her patience and ability to see both sides of every situation. In 2004 Mary took on the role and responsibility of Georgetown’s Assistant Supervisor, then Supervisor in 2005. Mary has two children of her own enrolled in the program and shares their wonder of this life of fun and imagination!
