Day Care Oakville

Welcome to Peekaboo Day Care Oakville; our Winston Churchill location.  My name is Kathy Cunningham and I am the proud owner of this centre that opened in November 2006.  Our emphasis is to provide the very best quality child care and education for all children.  We are extremely proud of our staff and the dedication they devote to the children and the Peekaboo philosophy. We were awarded the "Oakville’s Reader Selection Award" our first year open.  A team effort by all staff was necessary for this honour.

Our Supervisor, Tanya Hubbs graduated from Humber College in 2001 with a diploma in Early Childhood Education. Since joining Peekaboo in 2003 Tanya has had the opportunity to work with a variety of age groups, took on an assistant supervisor role in 2005 and became supervisor in 2008.  Tanya has also completed the supervisory and administration certificate program at Sheridan College in 2007. 

At Peekaboo Child Care we combine a learn-through-play philosophy along with a full age appropriate curriculum of math, science and our Jolly Phonics reading program.

Parents at our centre take great pleasure using the streaming video provided on Peekaboo's secure website.  They can watch their children in the classroom any time during the day to feel involved and connected.

Our location offers two large, safe outdoor play areas blended with artificial turf, a bike path and rubberized play surfaces making for a fun outdoor experience.
